Bed Frame Leg
Most of us are familiar with the old style of setting up a bed. First you put up frame which requires finding the right sized wrench and screw driver, and keeping track of the nuts, bolts, and screws. Then you put the box spring or foundation into the frame and finally place the bed in place. It's not very difficult, but the process has just been made even simpler. With the new foundation bed frame, all you need to do is unfold the legs and tighten a few wing nuts with your fingers. Then flop on the mattress, and you're done.
The foundation bed frame will fit inside a traditional wood bed frame, or can be purchased with optional head and foot board attachments. But it also looks great as a freestanding unit when covered with a bed skirt. Traditional bed skirts and bed ruffles fit over the foundation bed frame just like any other box spring or foundation.
Because it's so easy to set up and lightweight, moving is a snap, but perhaps the best feature is the added storage space and accessibility for cleaning. There is a full 13" of storage space under the entire bed, 5-6" more than traditional bed frames. That makes is easy to reach with your vacuum and allows 13" containers to slide under the frame for storage. A queen size bed will fit 4 storage containers measuring 13" high x 26" wide x 28" deep.
